Teams

I’m an experienced facilitator who specialises in compassion-informed workshops for teams & organisations.

Compassion is the antidote to trauma

My workshops are unique, engaging, deep (and fun!) and focus on supporting teams with:

  • nurturing their emotional health
  • building their capacity to reflect, respond
  • growing compassion for themselves and others

My intention is that your people will leave my workshops having actually experienced something – not just talked about it – which will lead to actual change in how they show up at work.

Please take a look at my current offerings below and I encourage you to contact me through the form at the bottom of this page to book or ask me any questions you have!

This workshop is great for frontline staff and people working in generally stressful situations.

Join me for an experiential, reflective training as we get curious about our REACTIONS and how we affect each other (often without meaning to!)

We’ll make conscious our unconscious dynamics and, together, move towards being more and more response-able humans.

If you work with clients or colleagues in a supportive role this training will help you develop your capacity to show up with more curiosity and compassion for the people you support – helping you understand why they do the (maybe strange!) things they do and maybe feel less frustrated with their unique ways!

Together, we’ll explore

  • our own unique processes & behaviours
  • our ‘normal human needs’
  • what emotions feel like in our bodies
  • how to ground ourselves
  • compassion for others and ourselves

The day will include whole group & small group sharing, as well as individual reflection.

Really insightful and enlightening experience. Unlike any other training I’ve ever been on in twenty five years in the same industry. This has given me a deeper understanding of human emotions and needs that I can use not only in my professional life but in my personal life too.

Homeless Link people! Please note that if you’re interested in booking this workshop and found out about me through Homeless Link, I ask you to book my similar workhop – What if how we react to the crisis, is the crisis? – directly through them here.

This workshop is great for teams who are losing motivation, compassion and close to burnout.

Provocative title, no?! Don’t worry – it’s not as it seems😉

In this workshop, we’ll be exploring all things compassion fatigue with the aim of reducing stress and burnout in your life and work!

This experiential session is designed to help you:

  • Understand your boundaries
  • Discern what’s yours and what is someone else’s
  • Feel into your body – physical sensations and emotions
  • Identify & express your needs from a place of calm confidence
  • Experience self-compassion (and identify what’s getting in the way)

The workshop will be made up of whole group discussion, experiential pair work and individual journalling.

Today I experienced a different style of training which included short intervals of meditation and a lot of thinking about myself, my boundaries and compassion. I’m still thinking about my experience but have taken away my compassionate goals. I’m looking forward to achieving my goals.

This workshop is great for CEOs, managers & HR folk who don’t have a lot of patience for the emotional stuff!

Not Very Professional (or ‘How allowing staff to express emotions at work can increase productivity’) aims to support organisational leaders to become better at tending to the emotional wellbeing of their staff.

You know that unspoken tension in that meeting that everyone can feel?

Every time we don’t acknowledge how we feel it creates a build up within us (whether we like this or not) and others can sense it.

Emotional blockages affect our individual focus, how our teams work (or don’t work together) and how our organisation feels as a whole.

The reason we don’t make space for our team’s emotions at work is because (whether we like this or not) we can’t make space for our own.

This short two half-day online course offers you the opportunity to experience two things:

  • taking responsibility for your own emotions
  • practising hearing others share theirs

On top of this, you will leave with various ideas, tools and approaches to continue to develop your emotional intelligence and skillset for the benefit of yourself AND your team & workplace!

Follow-up group and individual sessions can be booked with me to support you on an ongoing basis.

I’ve been able to express myself and my thoughts more than at any other workshop I’ve attended in my three years in the sector. Absolutely liberating, please do more!
